Hello I have a quick question...whenn should i start to worry about my cpu temps...I oced it from 3.9 to 4.0 which i would think is a massive oc and i dont know when i should think my temps are too high... non oc when one prime 95 i got about 63c underload and when at 4.0ghz i get 66c is this safe underload or am i going into the danger zone with temps?

Solution

If you're getting those temps in prime 95 you're fine. You won't be close to those temperatures when playing games as long as you have good airflow in your case. But I don't recommend running it at 65c for to long as it might try to downclock itself for protection. I'd stay below 60c or your room could get pretty hot xD.

Depends on the summer job i get kinda liking the new i7 and i5 coming out or maybe a 8350 really depends on the kind of money i can make. Its hard not to say ill just buy 2 780s and a 4770k but that is alot of money lol

yeah but at 1080p thats so overkill but if you can save up a little less than 1500 bucks over the summer get something like this its a beast and a huge amount of ways to upgrade in the future

One more question since i already made this thread....is there a software that can tell me if my cpu or gpu is having probelms...becuase when ever i play games like battlefield 4 and ghost, titanfall i get stutter for no reason in titanfall for instance fps goes 60 solid the 45 the 30 then 60 then 30 then 60 in a matter of seconds which is sad because even though i want to build a new pc i just go my 660 a month ago and still is a beast i had this probelm with the 7770 also in these game :/ also is there a software that will make benchmark charts for me

titanfall is pretty byuggy but my kids are playing it on 8320 with hd 7870 and it is extremely smooth what are your settings as far as i know there is no utility to tell you if a piece of hardware like gpu is having trouble other than temps and almost every bench has some kind of graph or ability to save it i like 3dmark and valley 1.0 or heaven 4.0
