up grade cpu or gpu first?

im currently using a 6950 2gb and i want to buy a gtx 770 this week, as fa as cpu im using a phenom II x6 1090t oc at 3.8ghz and i want to upgrade to a 4770k with a new z87 msi g45 mobo... which one should i upgrade first? i know there is a new 800 series cming out and also new intel cpus... does my x6 still have juice to use with a gtx 770?

so thats a for sure thing? i dont need to upgrade cpu you yet? when should i upgrade cpu? i only play 1080p 60hz also, the x6 wont slow the gtx 770 right.. or should i get cpu n mobo first then wait for the new 800 series gtx this year?

I had a 1090t running my 7950 crossfire and it did a great job almost the same as a 8350 or 15 3570 with no overclock

and i ran my cards on both of those systems to see and the 1090t was sure not as good but still very good talking like maybe 5-10%
