So, you bought a laptop with installed Linux, and want to restore Linux? Do you have (or have created) recover media? You can download any Linux free of charge, and reinstall it on your laptop.
You've posted in Windows forum - if you want Windows, you have to buy Windows, and install it through DVD.

I have a Windows installation disk.I want to reset to factory default because the computer can't even log into administrator it tries and then it says ice authority failed to log in and that's not the only problem with it it seems to have a virus I can install or uninstall anything without password root authentication I know the password but can't shop Id like to delete everything there's nothing poon there I want to back up so you don't have toworry about that I just can't seem to reset it ctrl+F10 doesn't work and continuously pressing F8 while its starting doesn't work either

I can't get in the bios settings you do that with cntrl+windows+esc right.Anyway it just beeps it must have a really bad virus i tried to boot off the hard drive and windowes cd but because i have ubuntu installed it won't let me.I can't even log in anymore so I'm getting a windows restore disc how do i use that?go into my F12settings and enter cd rom boot?
