Hello, for quite some time im trying to find what is the problem of low performance for some games (lets say world of warcraft), because in game i have an average of 20-40 fps while in fair/medium settings, so you might have a clue what could I do to increase the performance.. CPU : AMD athlon II x3 455, 3.3ghz, 4gb ram, Radeon HD 7770 (Gigabyte edit.), OS : windows 7. Would be thankful for your replies.

I don't see any bottleneck.. Maybe the CPU could be upgraded.. Since when you are facing this..?? What is the PSU you are using..??

I've got a 500w psu, I'm facing this for quite a long time, had a Nvidia 8800GTS 640mb before, got a 7770HD video card, thought its gonna increase my performance but it did not.

WoW is very CPU heavy on a single, or few, core(s). You'd want an intel CPU's stronger single-core performance to increase performance on games like WoW.

What I think is that the 800mhz ram is the limiting factor..

gotcha, would it be worth trying to overclock this cpu before I upgrade it?

Well then I'll start replacing ram asap, if that doesn't help, gonna try getting a new CPU+psu. Thank you for your help!

Overclocking need you to get a aftermarket cooler.. Maybe the amd and nvidia drivers are having conflict.. you can use driver sweeper from "safe mode" to clean all the drivers (some files will remain after you uninstall the drivers)..

then try installing the latest drivers fresh.. That should solve the problem..

I think your PSU is just fine. :D . Like illuminkiatiz said, get a better CPU.

OH... why did you do that?? good thing you did that still.. now you just clean install the graphic drivers, chipset drivers, audio and lan drivers.. then try running the game...
