I recently built a new pc and everything has been working out except for one problem that makes gaming impossible. When a game is launched that requires exclusive fullscreen, the monitor goes black for ~3 seconds like its trying to go fullscreen, but then puts me back at my desktop with the game still on the taskbar. Clicking on the taskbar simply enters the black screen again and repeats the process.

This happens for every game I own, Battlefield, Bioshock, League of Legends, etc. The games that support borderless mode work, but the moment I switch to fullscreen the game boots me to desktop, where I can't change the settings back to borderless, and some games simply don't support borderless. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Found out the reason after a lot of research. Turns out the Samsung Magician software interferes with fullscreen.
