here it is: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/otisriedel/saved/4hQV
i will most-likely change the name, that is just a placeholder for now. it was built around WATCH_DOGS and is made for gaming. i have 2 optical drives co i can play things from the UK and the US.

a few things: seagate HHDs have a terrible failure rate and hitachi has the best rate. i don't want to change my case. i am only going to use a GeForce GPU. i am sticking with my CPU. do any recommendations around these parameters.

my maximum price limit is $1180.

Looked at the updated build, I would get a better PSU. The corsair cx are not very good quality, they use Chinese capacitors that have a higher rate of failure at high loads (compared to japanes capacitors that you see in similar products). Either the Antec or XFX that were recommended in the builds posted have better build quality than the cx series.

Edit: Just curious why you went with the older gtx 680 rather than the gtx 770 for about the same price? Especially since the gtx 770 performs marginally better than the 680.
