Hi

I am thinking of upgrading my GPU. At first I was confident a GTX760 would do the job, but now I'm considering the GTX770. It's quite a bit more expensive, but it might just do the job better and mean i'll probably not have to upgrade ever for now.

At the moment, I don't play many demanding games, but there are some notable titles coming out in the near future, such as Watch Dogs, The Crew, and pCARS. I'd also like to be able to run Assetto Corsa smoothly on pretty high graphics...

Is it worth the extra ~£50? Or will a GTX760 do these things? I've noticed the GTX770 is kinda popular, so maybe it'd be best to jump on that bandwagon.

(was looking at EVGA for both these cards!)

Specs:

CPU: AMD FX-8320
MOBO: Asus M5A97 EVO R2.0
RAM: 8gb Corsair 1600mHz
PSU: 600W Corsair
[Current GPU: GTX550ti]

I would recommend you R9 280X which is 30-pounds cheaper than GTX-770 and comes with 3GB VRAM which is better for higher resolutions.
