Toshiba laptop battery

Hello,

I have an offer to buy Toshiba laptop,but it doesn't works with battery in but AC off. Works fine when charger is plugged. But if unplugged with battery,it turns off. Whats the problem any1?

If I read that correctly, it means your battery is dead. You need to buy a new one.

No I doubt it. Computer turns on when charger is plugged in doesnt matter if battery inserted or not. But if battery inserted and charger unplugged it just turns off.

Its very unlikely to be the motherboard. Visually check the connection to the battery for any breakage

Actually with battery inserted screen just blinks and thats all. without battery works fine.

Hi, you will know if the battery is defective, when it will be replaced with a new one. If you still have the same problem , then the charging circuit on the motherboard could be defective or the adapter not giving the right amperage.
