Need Some Expert Help With Choosing A Mic

Hello. I am having a dilemma with choosing a decent Microphone. I am new to all this sort of stuff so not really sure what I should be looking in a Mic. I have been told that a Audio-Technica Cardioid Condenser USB Microphone(Apparently used by (CaptainSparklez & PewDiePie) would be a good Mic for Gaming/Recording/Skype/etc. But I am still not sure. So I was wandering if there were some people out there who could shed some light on the subject for me. Any suggestions on a Mic would be great and suggestions that Youtubers have would be even better.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You for taking the time to read this.

Yes, it is the same one you just mention. They are fantastic microphones for the money.

This would be my second choice, it's a very commonly used (next to audio technica)

Thank You for taking the time to answer my question. I have heard the Blue Yeti is pretty good too so I guess really it is out of these two. And thanks for the other links for the extras that is very helpful. I shall get on and look at the two and compare with reviews. Thanks again
