Sapphire Vapor-x 290 needs 2x 8 pins. I have 1x 8 and 1x 6+2 pin

I have the EVGA SuperNova 750 G, can i power this monster with new cables with my current power supply?

Well, you already have 2 x 8 pins cables. The 6+2 can be transformed into an 8 pin one, it's made like that for those cards with 6 pin connectors. Just attach the other 2 pins to the 6 pin one and you're good to go, plug the 2 x 8 pin connectors into your graphics card.

Oops, my powersupply has 1x 6pin and 1x 6+2 pin.

I need 2x 8pins, do i have to buy another power supply? Or can i just buy/get 2x 8 pin connectors and plug it into my psu
