Is this a good deal?

My friend has offered me components he wants to sell for $220 CAD.
1. Mobo: Asus Crosshair IV
2. CPU: Phenom 965
3. Case: Win Buc case
4. He might include a cpu cooler.

It's been used. Is it a good deal?

I would say that it is. But, you should invest in some "newer" parts that are up to date

Yes.. it is a good deal if he includes the CPU cooler..

If you notice, the motherboard is about 200 USD.. it's worth it if you are planning on a AMD gaming rig as well..

Is he not including RAM sticks?? it will be great if he puts those in the deal as well along with the PSU..

The processor is not very old.. its still got some life.. probably till this year end.. I'm using it myself.. just add a decent GPU and you are all set for gaming..

Remember to give it a good PSU for the good GPU..

If it isn't overly used, go for it, as the motherboard itself costs almost $200 brand new. The CPU is starting to get a bit old but it is still solid
