Hi ive recently built my first gaming pc and ive had a few kinks here and there with some of the games. im not sure if its my graphics card or powersupply so im not sure where the issue is.

An example of the kinks is when i play Final Fantasy XIV A Realm Reborn; from time to time the app will crash with no specific reason, at other times it gets jittery at times or the game suddenly loses sound. Its not often that this happens but when it does its very fustrating.

And not to be asking too much, but my second question is how much wats i actually need for the parts i have. As im new to this i shall post all my builds components below:

Motherboard - ASRock 970 Extreme3 R2.0 Motherboard
Graphics Card - MSI Nvidia GT640 4GB DDR3 PCI-E Graphics Card
Processor - AMD FX-6350 Black Edition CPU
Power Supply - ACE 750W BR PSU
RAM Cards - KINGSTON HyperX 8 GB 1600 MHz CL9 DDR3 HyperX Beast Desktop Memory Kit
HDD - WD 1TB Desktop SATA Hard Drive

I'm pretty sure its the power supply because it was dirt cheap at 750W, but any insight is appreciated. Hope to hear a reply soon, thank you.

I say change the PSU and till you change it, do not use your PC as it has the potential to fry your complete hardware..

Like the below thread states,

http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/338923-28-750w-reliable-gaming

Never go for cheap when it comes to power supply.. :)

Get this is one if your budget permits,

or

600 watts are sufficient for your current needs, go for the 750 only if you plan on SLI or something like that in future..

Thank you for the quick reply, and sorry for the late response.

I had a good look around and couldn't find many places that sold the HX650 you posted at a price within my budget. So took a look on the corsair website and came to the decision to buy the RM650W after the reviews on it being silent and a capable psu for gaming systems. Hopefully this sorts any issues I've had.

Thanks again!
