Which of the following PC's is better for recording Minecraft high graphic settings With Frapps?

dell optiplex SFF:
CPU: 3.3ghz dual core I5 660
8gb DDR3 ram
Video: EVGA GeForce GT610 1G DDR3 Video card , low profile support

HP dc7900 MT:
CPU: 3.0ghz Intel core 2 duo
3.5gb DDR2 ram
Video: Asus R7 260X DirectCU II Overclocked 2GB DDR5 PCI-E 3.0 Video Card

I'm not sure about the MT, it only has a 365W power supply and the Asus R7 may use too much power, please help me.

the top one is going to be better for minecraft since it is a primarily cpu dedicated application. a better suggestion would be to make your own pc.

If its just minecraft with frapps then use the Dell optiplex sff, it has a newer cpu and is hyper threaded (it does help somewhat, at least with my i3), has newer and more ram for better multitasking. I have also used the gtx 610 and can vouch that It can play games like arma 2, Dayz, and borderlands albeit with a lot of setting turned down.BUT BE CAREFUL AS IT CAN GET VERY HOT IF IT IS PASSIVELY COOLED!!(large heat sink with no fan) and may need to have a side panel fan blowing on it if it has none of its own. If it doesn't have a fan where the graphics card is located, and you are going to game even on minecraft with it, then look for another computer as it will heat up and shut down the computer when it gets too hot (goes from 23C to 102C in about 6 minutes in my experience without a fan)

the HP has a very competent processor compared to the i5 660 but falls behind a little in some applications, you should stay away from the ddr2 ram for any modern application that doesn't involve general Internet use. ddr3 and soon to be released ddr4 do more than give you better ram speed witch is negligible in most cases, but provides you with better and more efficient communication with the cpu. the only saving grace for the hp is the r7 260x, witch is a very competent budget graphics card.

You should also consider how much storage you are getting, even if you only plan on putting minecraft and frapps on it, and you only have an 80gb hdd then you might start to get tight on space in the future. And also consider the OS, if its Xp, then look elsewhere. Xp is still great but since Microsoft stopped supporting it, hackers and male ware are going to kill what community is left of Xp in the next two to three years because it does not get any more security updates.

If you are getting theses from eBay or from an old computer store, I would look around some more as there might be some better deals on newer computers that can beat both in specs. If you can, wait and save more money and buy a more modern/brand new pc with an Intel Celeron or i3 processor and put a gtx 630 ($70) inside and you can get a decent low budget computer that can play modern games alongside minecraft.

Also You could always learn how to build a computer form the internet and you tube, if you don't feel comfortable handling expensive computer parts its normal, It took me 2 months of researching to work up the nerve to open and upgrade my first computer. And keep in mind that building and upgrading computers is not for everyone and if you don't like it there is no problem buying pre assembled computers form stores or online retailers.

Thanks!, I plan to get the one with a fan:

and I will eventually buy a new case and motherboard and swap its components over.
I have had trouble with PC building because one 1gb stick of ram on the MT decided to be 512mb (maybe I zapped it with static on accident) so thats why its 3.5gb ram instead of 4gb.

does that store do online price matching, assuming you are buying in person. because newegg has one for $40
