I have Windows XP on x86 computer.
Bought few different External hard drives in boxes 3TB from Seagate and WD.
They work fine Windows recognized full capacity of the hard drives.
Then I bought 3TB hard drive from Seagate and total disaster..the best I could do is having 2 different hard drives 2TB and The rest...but why ???
Why the external 3TB hard drive is recognized as a full capacity and work fine and the 3TB without the box not ??!!
So answer me please,,,would like the Seagate to do it too...what did you do that the external 3TB that it work fine and is recognized fuly and what is missing in the regular 3TB hard drive that it can't be recognized as whole drive
Is it driver maybe ...?
