Computer restarts itself, increasing in restart frequency until it doesn't boot at all

About a month ago I bought a secondhand computer from a pawn shop, it worked fine until yesterday when it started to restart itself. I bought a new power supply for it about 2 weeks ago (aywun elite gold series 650w), and a new graphics card for it about 1 week ago (geforce gtx 760).

When it restarts itself, the monitor goes black, cpu and gpu fans turn off, cpu and gpu fans come back on, monitor comes back on and computer boots normally.

The restarts increase in their frequency until the computer doesn't boot at all.

When it doesn't boot at all, cpu and gpu fans turn on really fast, but nothing comes up on the monitor.

-I tried using a different graphics card
-I tried using 1 stick of ram at a time
-I tried to boot in safe mode
-The temperatures look fine in bios immediately after a restart and the computer doesn't feel hot to the touch

I'm thinking it's a motherboard problem?

Here are my specs:

Motherboard: don't know - in system information it just says: cm6630_cm6730_cm6830
cpu: intel i5-2320 3ghz
os: windows 7 home premium
bios version/date: american megatrends inc. 0505, 18/07/2011
smbios version: 2.6
ram: 2 x 4gb
gpu: geforce gtx 760
psu: aywun elite gold series 650w
hard drive: 2tb
cd drive:

Yes I think that's it, except mine has different power supply and graphics card

This is the first time I've built a computer. I just found that power supply at my local computer shop.

This might be a stupid/silly question (and I surely don't mean to insult your intelligence), but were you sure to plug in a power connector to your new graphics card directly?

Those specs make it seem like the card that was installed previously did not have these required pin connectors.

Yes my graphics card is connected to my power supply. I was using it to play oblivion and skyrim on max settings for 2-3 days before this problem started happening.

Also sometimes when it restarts itself the bios settings are all reset, including date and time. I have not changed any of the settings in the bios and if an incorrect setting was the problem, it would have fixed itself the first time it reset.

It has been working for the last couple of days, it only starts to restart itself at the end of the day, if i have been using it all day. This makes me think something is overheating? All my temperatures look fine though, and my cpu and gpu both blow out cool air.
