Don't. Worry about it the cpu-id sometimes screws up like that it won't affect the performance in anyway. I had the same problem with My amd a-10 5800k when all of a sudden it loaded ip as an a6 processor. Sometimes this happens when you just have updated the mobo or computer. But like I said its nothing to worry about as long as the moobo is reading the chip correctly.

the clock speed is so low 1.60ghz and my athlon was @ 3.10ghz and i think the Ghz is making me lag on my games cause it is so low clock speed ?? but i dont know thats why i am asking u guys about this thank u so much for some of the info but i still need to know if the opteron will still be there or will my amd athlon come back

CPU ID can't literally change your CPU. It just reads it.

download Speccy and see what that says, it's made by the people who did CCcleaner. Something HAD to of changed for it to be reading it wrong like that, and I'm not sure what in the world would of made your clock speed get cut in half to 1.6ghz all the way from 3.10ghz

maybe your stuff is badly overheated and it's throttling itself to 1.6ghz. Check what Speccy says though.

Also scan for any malware with Malwarebytes

you're have been unlocking your Athlon x2 255 to opteron 1300 which it have over 25x multiplier that you can reach speed up to 5000mhz(5Ghz) and its need a formula's to get working and stable.. my athlon x2 270 have been change to Opteron 1300 too at last night, but i still research the formula until its work and get stable (change HT freq, NB, freq, Vcore). wait for my research. hehe

and if you want to go to your athlon x2 255 back, go to BIOS and Load default setting and its will be change your athlon back.
the reason your athlon x2 255 to Opteron 1300 is you change your BIOS at Advance Clock Calibration (ACC), right ?
