I just recently purchased a Lenovo IdeaPad 510y with the ultrabay slot with the blu-Ray option. I also purchased the extra graphics card, plugged it in yesterday and ran a game on the laptop for about and hour and a half and noticed the fan wasn't working on that side. The laptop recognized the extra graphics card but I'm not sure if it is actually working. Does the computer not use the extra graphics card if it is not needed? Or did I get a bad piece of hardware?
