Msi GTX 760 power requirement

The MSI GTX 760 comes with 1 6 pin and 1 8 pin connector. should both pins be connected to the psu? and if my psu only has 1 pci-e connector (6+2 pins), how should i proceed?

30A on the 12V rail and 500W minimum. eg Antec HCG 520M

yes its required 6 pin and 8 pin connector. you need to get a psu that has those connectors in order to power gtx 760

i ordered the cooler master extreme 2 525 W but the unit i received was defective. i am not sure what psu to order instead

i dont buy online since there are high shipping costs where i live (Lebanon). i've done some research and found a shop that sells the Corsair CX500 (it provides 38A on the 12V rail and has 2 pci-e connectors).
should be good enough right?

dont get cx version its really bad. might fail at high load. if you might prefer hx or tx

thanks for the advice. but i noticed that the cx series mainly the cx600 are top of the list in the best sellers in power supplies at amazon. so i thought it might be a decent choice
