If you're talking about a desktop computer, you need a wifi pcie adapter, something like this:



If you're talking about a laptop, it should be included.

Which ones are good and how do you install them and does it have to be the same brand as the mobo

You can get a wifi adapter for about 20$ on Newegg, here's the link:

Any wifi adapter with an antenna will do the job, they're quite easy to mount, if you've ever mounted a graphics card, it's pretty much the same, place it into a tiny PCIe slot, like this:



You can place it into the slots that are marked as red.

I would buy one from a local store though, they sell like hotcakes anyway. And no, it doesn't need to be the same brand as the motherboard.
