Hey guys. Building a computer for a friend and I'm giving him my old 5850. I want to set up Afterburner and make a fan profile for him but I remember having problems with CCC. Once I have the drivers installed, don't I uninstall CCC and keep afterburner running to control the settings? I forget what solved it. Thanks in advance.

I would go for MSI afterburner and set a fan profile there. There are more customization choices. Install the drivers and see if the same problem arises, it may not arise, since it's a different build.
