Insert 24pin connector the wrong way?

Can you insert the main power connection(24 pin) into the motherboard the wrong way?

Not really. It's keyed, and thus takes a stupid amount of force.

No you cannot insert the 24 pin connector in the wrong way. The covers for some single pins are shaped according the motherboard port, so it can only go in one way. Just like what the guy above said... "takes a stupid amount of force" to insert it in the wrong way.

It is not booting. I have the power supply plugged into the 24 pin and 4 pin. I have the power cord plugged in to the outlet. Can anybody help?

Make sure the small power connector from the case is connected properly to the motherboard. Also check if the switch behind the PSU is turned on.

Got the 4/8-pin up by the CPU?

Pull it out of the case, put the board on the motherboard box (or something similarly nonconductive), and see if it POSTs.

No LEDS whatsoever. The 4 pin power connector is to the top left of the cpu.
