is Samsung HU7000 40'' fine for gaming

Solution
From that website it looks like it only supports HDMI in and therefore would not be able to run at more than 30Hz. Even though it says 60Hz supported it also says "Auto Motion plus" which I guess means that it analyses the frames from the HDMI and uses software interpolation to create frames between the 2 given thus making the image look "smoother"

This means that it wouldn't be good for gaming.

If you are set on 4K then samsung has recently released a "cheap" 4K monitor capable of running at proper 60Hz; the U28D590D.
