Was planning on buying another Monitor today and i was going to use one for gaming (The new one) and one for Youtube/Skype chats ect. Will this at all affect my performance in games? (Both monitors will be 24inch 1920x1080)

Yeah you can do that. From what I've seen it won't affect performance if your gaming on one screen and just on your desktop homescreen or whatever on the second screen.
