What kind of cooling should I use?

Solution
I personally went for the Noctua since it costs about 30€ less where I live and it fits my case. The Noctua prevents you from using high profile RAM but that was also not a problem in my case.

Maybe I should mention that my idea is:
1. Build a good gaming pc, but not the highest or more expensive one.
2. PC should last 3 years minimum.
3. I dont know to overclock, but I have heard, the best cooling you have the more time the cpu will last and the best Overclocking you can do.

Liquid cooling seems overkill for my purposes, please note I am enthusiast player, I dont make money out of it, and I only play FPS games, 2 h per day, that is it.

Liquid cooling seems overkill according to this:

A full water-cooling loop is overkill for the vast, vast majority of PC builders, and you're almost certainly going to be fine with a good air cooler or basic all-in-one CPU cooling loop. However, I'd be remiss if I didn't mention them

Those two will both be easily enough for stock clocks, but the water cooler has more overclocking headroom (please note that these two coolers are in completely different tiers, the Noctua NH-d14 would be better if you are looking for silent and powerful air cooling).

Which one would you choose between the:
Noctua NH-D14 120mm & 140mm SSO CPU Cooler
and the:
CORSAIR Hydro Series H100i Extreme Performance Water/Liquid CPU Cooler. 240mm

Both are almost the same price, but the first one looks too big, not sure if that could be a problem for other components
