Yes it will. It will be the same as the i7 would be. People think the i7 will magically be fine in the future. Look at the last 4 generations. the i7s age just as fast and as bad as the i5s.

My i5 is about to be 3 years old and it easily can max most games today. And it wasn't even a high end i5. It is about the lowest i5 you could by at the time. Equivalent to the i5 4430 now a days. The 2500k was the top of the line i5 at the time and it still can max all games.

Rendering,encoding and gaming but not at the same time... BTW I have seen the watch dogs system requirements and you need an 8 core processor to run it on max and I am not sure if a 4670K would be able to run it even if I over clock a bit..

Sorry I just meant to ask you if there is anything cpu with 8 cores like the FX 8350 but not the xeon ones...

Did you read my post? I clearly stated those system recommendations are over estimated. There are plenty of games that recommend an i7 but can easily be maxed on an i5. For example Metro Last Light recommends an i7, but my 2 generation old, bottom end i5 can max the game no problem.

System recommendations like that from game companies are RARELY ever accurate.

I was answering what rgd1101 said about it saying that it needs a 4770k. But BTW will the 4670k be able to run future games in about 3 years time??? Including GTA 5?
