I am really thinking about buying this pc.
I am looking to play dayz, minecraft, cod, etc on high settings with good fps.

Would this be ideal?

I'd say if your not going to build your own thats a pretty nice pre built system.

The motherboard is VERY low end.

The GPU is good but the PSU (most important part) is probably trash.

Well mate, I'd say if you could find an extra hundred pounds this would be alot better:

Decent PSU. Not great or anything, but it isn't junk at least. Should be alright.

This should play DayZ just fine. Don't expect max settings or anything. I have an i5 and a 660ti and I can barely play at a mix of normal and high. It is not hardware related. It is that the game is VERY poorly coded. Even i7s and gtx780s can't max it.

34 quid is WAY too much for a non-mech keyboard as they all feel identical. ANY rubber dome board from a $11 Walmart board to a $100 board will feel the same. The best value for money keyboard and mouse by FAR for cheap are these: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

DO NOT spend much money at all on a non-mech board.

Actually it will be basically the same. Not better really. The CPUs are comparable as are the GPUs.

CHECK MANUFACTURER
1. Is the manufacturer any good? I know nothing about Cyber power, but it seems to review well.
Check for sneaky omissions
2. Look above and below its price range for better systems. l have seen bargains for 2 similar systems and one is $100 cheaper but they've stripped memory, HDD and no graphics card. This nails impulse buyers who don't check
Is the Price Fair?
l can't comment on Uk prices as l am in Canada. what l do is build the same system with pcpartpicker.com and compare price. Also, wherever possible go to the manufacturers site and see what they sell it for. then find a price comparison site. In Canada there is pricebat.ca and l have found as much as a $200 difference on a $ 1000 system. By the time you've done all 3 you'll know if the price is good.

My thoughts on this system
There are No cheats: Memory /HDD/ graphics card/ motherboard all good. Though l would like to know WHO made the HDD and memory
The Motherboard Gigabyte is a good brand but I'm puzzled. Ggiabytes website does not indicate Windows 8 support:http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=...
But the board is well reviewed: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E1681...
as is the CPU : http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E1681...

However l did encounter one problem: http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1791761/gigabyte...
The chip in your system is 125W: http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/Bulldozer/AMD-FX-Series%2...

If the post in Tom's hardware is true then this is the one problem l can find.
PLEASE NOTE I said nothing about gaming or the AMD chip itself as I don't game. l confined to contribution to fair price and quality of components, and l'm a notorious worry wart and hard to please!

l hope my novel may have helped!

NO, do not waste 100 on that PC. It will perform NO differently than the build you linked in the OP.

That is not a bad mouse at all. There are alot of REALLY good cheap mice. I used this for 2 years: http://www.meritline.com/inland-optical-usb-gaming-mous...

I currently have a Corsair M95.
