I have basically installed all the parts to the motherboard ( ASUS 990FX R2.0 ) but for the life of me I'm completely lost when it came to the power supply and its many connection wires.

I'm using a TX850 Corsair power supply and a NZXT chassis. Has anyone had experience with this combination? I've seen a few videos of people connecting wires together but its a case of looking good on paper yet its execution is pretty clumsy on my part.

I mean I did get the green light when I attempted to see if the entire thing would work on the motherboard --- but that's as far as I got. Nothing else worked. Either I entirely messed up what goes where.... or something.

First build.

Wondering if I just bought my self a very expensive foot rest then a working PC!

Well this is a bit later but it would appear that I probably did wire everything up the way it should.... I was just putting the Power Switch connection in the wrong spot ( SM ). When it lit up I was like --- Well damn...

Experience taken non the least eh?
