Hi, I am looking to upgrade my gpu soon from an AMD Sapphire 7750 2GB to an Nvidia 750ti 2GB
My PC build is currently
AMD FX6300 Black edition
Asus M5A78K-M/USB3 Mobo
Crucial 8GB RAM
1TB Seagate HDD
Cooler Master 500W PSU
and obviously the AMD Sapphire 7750 2GB
Would I be able to swap the Amd for the Nvidia without having to change any other parts or without ruining my build. Also, would I lose any potential power or specs from having an AMD CPU and an Nvidia GPU?
Thanks

sure, no problem with that.
nope, you won't lose anything, just gain a better gpu performance. /in fact amd cpus play better with nvidia gpus than amd ones :D /
the only price you will pay is 20w on the tdp scale, but your cpu is waaaaaay more powerful than you'd ever need.

You will be able to upgrade with no problems. Just make sure you Uninstall amd drivers and install Nvidia drivers. Amd cpu+ gpu advantage? No such thing exist.

Thanks for the help! Also, what would be better? The Nvidia card or a AMD 7950 3GB?

The 750 Ti, It's newer and will run better.

Wrong. 7970 is significantly better than 750ti and it's not close. A gtx 760 is slightly slower than amd 7970.

I said the 7950, not the 7970. I will probably go for the 750ti, as it is cheaper and better by the looks of things.

Sorry. Misread it. Amd 7950 is on par with gtx 760 and maybe slightly better. 750ti is nowhere near as good those cards and newer is NOT better.

Depends on where you buy.At newegg there's a powercolor hd 7870 which will be better than the 750 ti and is about the same price.
