My desktop computer runs Windows 7. I have many midi files that I would like to transfer to 3.5" floppy discs to play in a midi keyboard. I bought a Bytecc BT-144 external floppy disc drive that is supposed to work with Windows 95 or above--it has a side note stating Windows 7 compatible. When I try to copy a file to the 3.5" discs, I get a message saying the disc must first be formatted, but when I click on the format button I get a message stating the system does not recognize the media and cannot format it. Any suggestions?
