good time to buy?

planing on building my own system and want to buy the hardware in the next week or 2. i was wondering when the next batch of graphics cards and or cpus where coming out... if its longer than say 6 months than ill buy now if its shorter i was going to wait.

In Intel is releasing some processors soon but the current ones already do a excellent job. As for the graphics cards, Nvidia just put a hold on the GTX 800 series for quite awhile.

Yeah i would wait for the new processors, thats what i am gonna do. I would say it will take 2-3 weeks for the new processors to be announced. The gtx series is looking very promising right now (700)The 800s will take a bit. i would recommend getting a 700 series with the new cpus and then sliing another one.
