How Good is My CPU?

I have an FX 8120 and I have it overclocked to 4GHz. I'd just like to know where it sits compared to intel. I've been running benchmark after benchmark and looking at tons of benchmarks online trying to figure out which Intel processor my CPU is comparable to. I can't seem to find a definite answer. Back when AMD had their rating system like '3500+' for example it was much easier but now I can't figure it out. In some games my CPU only uses 12% of its CPU power. I see so much potential in this CPU. I've heard people talk about how bad it is calling it faildozer. I paid just $100 for the CPU so I didn't have high expectations anyway but I think it does a pretty good job overall.

You can check Passmark for a ballpark result. but in general AMD is half the speed of Intel per core, clock for clock.

One thing to remember, Passmark uses all cores when testing, so the single core results are not shown.

You will find 2 core Intels pitted against 4 core AMD, close to each other

I want to know which intel CPU scores around the same as mine on a consistent basis through most of the benchmarks out there.

Game debate says that my CPU when overclocked to 4GHz is 5% slower than an FX 8350, 6% faster than an FX 8320, 26% faster than an FX 6300, 18% faster than a 3570K, 10% faster than a 4670K, 26% faster than a 2500K, 3% faster than a Core i7 2600K, and 23% faster than itself at stock settings.

The users at game debate seem to agree with the numbers but I'm not sure. It seems to go against what I thought. But there are verified benchmark scores to back everything up. So... Yeah...

Half the IPC clock for clock is an exaggeration. It is not that bad.

As a long time AMD user, I don't like it either. I wish it wasn't that bad.
I was just stating the facts. (benchmarks attached)
Any benchmarks to go with your statement?

I think 75% is more accurate. You can look at it as half full, half empty. AMD had about 1/15th of the r&d budget Intel has.
