CPU: AMD FX-8320 Vishera 3.5GHz (4.0GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+

GPU: MSI R6770-MD1GD5 Radeon HD 6770 1GB 128-Bit GDDR5

PSU:Thermaltake SMART Series SP-750PCBUS 750W ATX

RAM: G.SKILL Ares Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 1866

MB: ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0 AM3+ AMD 970 + SB950

I have a liquid cooler also: Corsair H80i

Fans: 2x 200m, 4x 140mm, 1x120mm

Worse case, 300 watts maybe. That PSU has a lot of unused power for that system.

I agree.
The video card manufacturers call for a 450 watt, and they generally are 150 watts more than you need.

With a normal system all you have to know is the video cards recommendations.

Subtract 300, from 750.
You could run 3 of those cards with that power supply

its not really how much you've got to mess around with, if the GFX card states "requires 450w" then they generically figure in a processor and ram and hard drive(s). So really a 750W psu should be good for almost ALL graphics cards, aside from some higher SLI/Xfire setups.

Have you already built this system? Or is it in the process? The only reason I ask is because I have not seen any good reviews for that particular PSU. A LOT of DOAs and bad longevity reviews.
