Battlefield 4 Spiky and Low GPU Usage? 650Ti Boost

Hi everyone.
I recently got this game and unfortunately in no time i got this problem.
About: well for first time it was running good at High. Later i dropped settings when i faced lag.
But next day this lag became weird , turning camera made good lag.. and some time game drop to 10 fps for long. So i reduced settings and did some tweaks through nvidia control panel.

So currently game running on Mix of Medium and High settings. Textures are High , terrain and mesh is medium, Post fx , AA is off / low and Ambient Occulsion off aswell.
I dont think anything can be pulled down anymore.

I believe that my specs are fair enough to run this game at Medium or High well at my resolution 1360x 768.
FX 6300 @ Stock, Asus 650Ti Boost DC II 2GB @ 20offset for clock 30 for memory and 10 for fan. 4GB 1600Mhz ram. 7200Rpm WD Blue HDD.

So far CPU Usage seem fine but the GPU is seemed to be performing very badly.
I have noticed that it doesnt go about 60% Usage sometime , however in most of other game it seem fine.
It spike way alot 60 is average and some time it run on 80% usage but going down to much low like 30-20% and average around 50%. I hope i am clear.

On the recent gameplay i noticed it got me 60Fps but going down to 20 - 15 Fps and then 30 - 50Fps. Therefore making gameplay far unstable..

This is .csv from HwInfo: (This was time when it ran at much load but still not smooth performance / lag spikes again! )

More about battlefield spiky low gpu usage 650ti boost
  1. The 650 is an entry level video card. I wouldnt expect to get great frames on anything that was new or as tough to run as BF4. Try it at low settings and work your way up from there.

Basically 4gb is bare minimum to play, and causes the issues you are experiencing.

    You want 8gb ram.

If you don't have 64 bit OS, then the best you can do is to make sure all other unecessary processes in the background are shut off before playing.

Well i agree it is entry level but this card is some how equivalent to GTX 660 and performs great for 720p resolutions. i Can run Metro Last Light on 40Fps - High. and most of other games on highest!

    @maxalge
Well i am not sure but Battlefield 4 currently at my current settings taking like 800MB of Ram only and i am left with 25% free ram too.
At high settings it took upto 1800MB Ram however.

But i am sure there may be another workaround then upgrading ram..?

Open the task manager and run resource monitor, play the game when ya get a spike alt tab to it and see ram usage.

It spikes to 6-7gb while playing for me.
  5. I will try benchmarking ram usage again just to make sure for correct values and post some results tommorow.
  6. Ok i did played a bit today in singleplayer. Ram usage seem to be like 3.5/4.0 GB , well wrong calculation i made earlier
but looking at GPU usage i am annoyed.
    I EVEN TRIED LOW SETTINGS.

pretty sure this is something wrong with game and not with hardware requirements ..
