Got adware virus, need help

Hello fellas. After trying multiple scans in safe mode, I still can't remove this annoying virus where I get a small window pop-up asking me to lay a stupid game. I have used spybot, malwarebytes and a few others. Finally I launched AdwCleaner and it is stuck in "Pending. Please uncheck elements you don't want to remove" when I hit scan.. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

BTW, how do I add screenshots or files on this site? I guess it would help if you guys see what I am seeing on my PC just to get a better understanding.

I hope you realise that after pressing scan in Adwcleaner you have then have to press "Clean" to remove everything selected.

What browser to you use? A lot of ad-ware infections these days will add an extension to your browser which creates the pop-ups.

I would be careful with ComboFix. It can seriously screw up your PC if you don't know what your doing.

It could be a program/plugin yo download that is causing this to happen. Try to remember when did this virus start and see in Programs the last program/plugin you install when the virus started to show up.

you know having multiple virus scanners is not a good idea because one virus scanner will think that viruses scanner B is a virus and also make sure that the antiviruse is not out of date by that I mean that it is upto date on it database
