I am going to buy an EVGA graphics card for gaming. I want to run all modern games on maxed settings, but its ok if I have to run it on medium. Anyway, I was looking at the EVGA SC ACX versions of these two cards. The 760 has the best reviews of any card on Newegg. Is the 770 overkill? I've looked at videos of the 760 and it seems it can run BF4 pretty smoothly. In a nutshell, which one is more worth it?

I'd say, spend the extra 100 for a 770, here's a comparison chart of the 2:

You also have 2 versions of the 770 to choose from: the 2 gig version and the 4 gig version.

The 2 gig version is better if your running just one monitor, although if you have a dual setup and you don't game on both this is the card you would choose.

If you plan to game on dual monitors or run a triple monitor setup then the 4 gig version is for you. You could also purchase the 4 gig version if you wanted to future proof it a little bit more.

It really depends on what CPU you are pairing it with. Both cards have their pluses.

I definitively suggest the 770. Look at the article I posted about it on this thread, It explains everything.
