What CPU is better?

im starting to build my first (budget gaming) PC and i was wondering what cpu is better for the upcoming games?

Intel Core i5-4670K Haswell 3.4GHz OR AMD FX8350 black edition

i would like it to last 2-3 years maybe longer,and what is better for gaming.


GPU: AMD R9 270x OR GTX 760

RAM: G.SKILL Sniper 8GB (2 x 4GB)

PSU: Corsair CP-9020077-UK Builder Series 650W

MOBO: INTEL: ASRock H87 PRO4 Motherboard OR AMD: Asus M5A97 EVO R2.0 Motherboard


OS: Windows 8.1 pro OR Windows 7


I would like some help on what to go for and what would last longer.

I would really like some help :)

I would go for the i5-4670K. Gaming benchmarks have proven that better, and the FX8350 is a power hog that will cost you another $15-30 every year over the i5.

Go for Windows 8.1 Pro also. Games and everything will run faster and smoother.
