Can I use my laptop as a monitor for my desktop computer (monitor not working)

Monitor is broken and I have a laptop but it`s really slow. Is it possible to use my laptop as like a monitor only for my desktop?

Your laptop monitor uses a different type of connection for both data and power to the monitor. while it can converted the cost and skill to do so far excedes the cost of a new monitor.

If you can borrow a monitor you can then set it up on desktop to use remote desktop and be able to use your laptop
