I have an old PC(dell quadcore 2.4ghz ) work fine with the Asus 7790. I just brought a new PC Dell XP8700.

Ofc i use the Dell Xp8700 for 3days with Windows 8. So i decided to put the old video card (asus 7790 brought 4month ago)

When i turn on the computer the screen turn black, i can't go to dos, bios, etc.

The card work fine with my old pc.

Hey buddy, the same kind of thing happened to me a while back. To fix it I had to clean the DIMM slots that go to the mobo and then rollback the drivers and then update them to the latest.

Nope, I just cleaned the dimm slots, rollbacked the drivers and updated them AND reset my bios. I forgot that last bit, sorry :p
