Hey people,
I recently found an amazing deal for a R9 280X (200€ for a new card, ridiculous) and I really wanna buy it, but I'm not sure if my PSU can handle it. I have a CX600 power supply. Considering that I don't want to do any overclocking and I have all the necessary connectors and all that jazz, will my PSU handle this card? Even for a while, until I can save up the money for a new power supply? Rest of the system: i5-4670k, Maximus VI Gene, 1TB HDD, Vengeance 8GB.

Thanks!

A Radeon R9-280X needs at least 30 amps on the 12v rail and a 550 watt power supply.

The CX600 has 46 amps on the 12v rail and has the proper power connections , so yes you can run the R9 280X on your system.

Enjoy the new card.
