Volume too low on my laptop and i dont know why

The volume is really quiet all of a sudden, but it says it is on full level. My laptop is a HP Pavilion 15-n221sa. How do I fix the problem?

Things to try:

*First, put the audio back to 50%.

1) right-click the AUDIO ICON-> Playback devices-> Communications.

Sometimes there is a glitch that causes sound to be reduced by 80% even when it isn't supposed to. Click "Do Nothing" and SAVE.

or

2) Reboot.

Hi, right click on the speakers on the taskbar, choose Playback devices, click on the Speakers and Properties after, select Enhancements and choose loudness Equalization, Apply and OK, OK and your sound will be higher.
