CPU: AMD FX8350 Black Edition
CPU cooler: H100i
Mother board: Asus M5A97 EVO R2.0
GPU: AMD R9 270X OC 4GB
Hard drive: 1TB 2.5 inch toshiba
Case: CiT Knight Interior Mesh Case with 500W 12cm PSU
PSU: comes with the case
RAM: HyperX 16 GB 2133MHz

im planning to put together a pc for video/photo editing (using Adobe PS, AE and IR) with some gaming such as metro and cod

i was wondering if the build is any good and if there is any mistakes or improvements i can make to make the build cheaper

Looks great, I would just look for a better case and a new PSU. Pretty much any case that comes with a PSU is a piece of junk. Also you could save some money and get a R9 270 and just overclock it. Then it would be at the same level as a 270x.

It would hardly make a difference with more vram gaming unless you're running multiple monitors. Editing it might come in handy however.. but 4gb vram I can imagine would only help with large files such as 4k, etc.

I'm probably not going to be running any game on 4k or have a 4k monitor so I guess I'll stick with the 2gb 270.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think adobe doesn't use much of the gpu... or maybe I interpreted a forum answer incorrectly.
