Okay, than you for reading my thread. So, I have a pre-built rig that I bought from IBuyPower, I wanted to build my own but was not able to.

Here are my current specs:
i5-33570K Intel Processor
GTX 650 (Not Ti/ Ti Boost)
400W PSU (Brand Unknown)
8 GB RAM (Brand Unknown)
500 GB Seagate Storage
Mother Board Unknown

I am now wanting to make a pretty descent upgrade since I am sick of playing bf4 on low settings and having 40 fps. BF4 is the main game I play, as well as Titanfall and Crysis.

Right now, I plan on upgrading to a Nvidia 770: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?gclid=CIKj18PS_70CFaLm7Aodfw0ALA&Item=N82E16814133490&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleAdwords&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-_-pla-_-Desktop+Graphics+Cards-_-N82E16814133490&ef_id=UdiiGAAABOF0hi1A:20140427024304:s

Along with this upgrade I would also need a new PSU. Can anyone recommend a good one for my setup with a Nvidia 770? I believe I will need something in the 600W range. If possible, I would like to keep it around 50$ as I do not want to spend more than 400$ with this upgrade.

My main concern is that my motherboard may not work with the card, since I do not know what it is, and it looks kind of low quality. I am kind of new to the PC building world and would just like some advice on whether this would be a good upgrade or not. Thanks for the help! Also, what sort of performance on bf4 would I be expecting with a 770? Thanks!

what would be your budget for a PSU and GPU, then I may be able to suggest something better.

P.S. wit BF4 and other games, you'll get much better FPS going for an AMD GPU, as AMD mantle and frostbite engines run the game, therefore you'll get much better FPS with a R9 280X, or maybe if yo can expand, get the titan R9 290 4GB GDDR5.

The first priority, upgrade the power supply. You'll need around 550-600- https://pcpartpicker.com/part/antec-power-supply-hcg620m- I recommend upgrading to this.

I recommend this card from EVGA. This is going to go over the 400 dollars but remember this about spending an extra 30 bucks for the 770: EVGA has fantastic customer support, and that is pre-overclocked so you'll get the best performance. Now, regarding the issue about your motherboard. It will support the card. If it already has a card preinstalled, it will fit any other except for if the card is too long or big too fit in the case.

Thanks for letting me know on that! I will definitely reconsider, but why the 770 over the r9 280x? The r9 280x come with 3 games and seems to perform just ass well as the 770?
