I Have a dell precision 380 and i was wondering if it was compatible with an xfx r7750 core edition graphics card. Please help!

short and simply, yes it is, and there is no need for a new PSU.

Wait what? I mean you could put that in there, but

1) I doubt the power supply it came with would handle it.

2) Your bottlenecks the processor at this point too. Time for a new build, the precision 380 isn't worth putting new parts in.

but when i plug it in to my tv via hdmi, it goes blank before the desktop shows up. it then reads, "not support" on my tv.

not quite, the 7750 can run off a cheap 300 watt PSU.

The 7750 would not bottleneck the CPU, as a dual core pentinum can take a GPU like that.

This build could be upgraded with few parts, then he could use the upgraded parts in the new build later on.
