sorry for noob question here. i have videos inside my folder but the folder's attribute is hidden as well as the videos i gotta ask does my videos still play? knowing that the folder is hidden then i plug my external hard drive to TV, i'm just asking cause i'm curious and i don't have TV that has a usb port
does my videos still play?

if it's hidden, it will still play if it is there, and is a supported video format understood by the T.V.
Most T.V.'s don't like external HDD's, as the T.V.'s USB cant power them and are quite often formatted that the T.V. can't even access the drive. Bets to use a USB thumb drive, they work best with T.V.'s.
