Hey,
I just got a new Dell XPS 8700 and I've been playing DC Universe Online and Terra Rising and my computer keeps crashing to the point where I have to restart it using the power button.
When it crashes it will make a monotone noise (out of the speakers) for a couple minutes then go quiet and the screen will either go black or green/blue with stripes

Windows 8
i7-4770 core (3.40GHz)
16 gig RAM
AMD Radeon(TM) HD R9 270 2GB GDDR5
I saw some suggestions to try running them in windows 7 compatibility mode and also checked that all my drivers are up to date but that didn't help. I'd really appreciate some help with this. It is literally brand new and it's kind of frustrating to have it crash every time I play a game.
I'm not very techy, I know a bit but not much, so layman's terms appreciated.
