About two years ago I built myself a Desktop PC, for those past two years it's worked fine with nary a problem. However last night I left the computer on to go make dinner, upon returning I found that Windows 8 was locked in a loading screen. So I did the usual, turned it off and back on. After doing so the OS loaded but hung up and then reset. Each time it would list a different file it couldn't load, or a different error. I tried another hard drive with Windows 8, same thing. I tried Windows 7 also which blue screened. I tried to boot in Ubuntu and the screen hung up.

After all that I loaded an older Bios profile to CMOS and still nothing. I took out the CMOS battery, left it out for several hours (PC unplugged etc) and still nothing.

Sabertooth 990fxa UD3
AMD3+ 8150
G.Skill RipjawsX DDR3 1866
Radeon HD 7850
PSU (1200wats) Can't remember the brand though (it was fairly cheap admittedly)
+ Assorted Hard Drives (each OS Was on a different Physical Hard Drive, only one was plugged in when the problem occurred).

I wrote a few of the errors down but for the life of me I can't find where I put them, I'll post them once I find them.

Thanks in Advance

Time to seek out common denominators then. Pull a RAM stick and see if it gets on any better on the other one (hopefully you do have more than one) then swap them if it made no difference to try the other stick.

In the absence of any better advice, I would have to say if that doesn't help, it could be the CPU so it's off with the heatsink, carefully remove and clean the chip with an alcohol wipe then reseat it. If the problem persists, it's bad news.

Done as you said, no difference with Ram. The Processor on the other I lack the tools to get at, at the moment (I have a generously sized water cooler attached to it.

Is there any possibility that this could be a PSU issue? I am hoping that rather then anything CPU or MOBO related. The PSU is two years old, no-name brand type thing....
