Acer Monitor jumping

Hi I've recently Built a PC and my monitor picture jumps every now and then, I use a HDMI cable and I've tried using another one but it still happens. What could the problem be possibly? I have a couple days to get a refund without without hassle so I'd like to try solve it, if it's not my monitor or gpu. Could it be settings? I have a R9 280x MSI gpu and monitor is Acer G246HYL

ah no I didn't realise It had to be taken out. I played xbox on the monitor for a couple hours And didn't experience any jumps, not that there always regular. If this is the GPU is it usual setting or a more serious problem, I know you can't say what it is right now, but from your experience? Thanks again for the help I appreciate it

Hi, I have unplug the GPU and ran it off the motherboard. And seen no jumps :( So I guess we are pretty sure its the GPU. Do you have any suggestions what to do next to correct it or is it a case of having to return it?

Damn Ok I will do that, roughly how long do companies take? I bought it from scan here in the UK I've heard alot of bad things about them regarding RMAs. Thanks for all your help and as always tomshardware is the best place for info/help :)
