How do I set up a Push-Pull configuration with my 212 evo?

I currently have a Hyper 212 evo cooling my FX-6300. I want to add another fan for a push pull setup but I would have to connect that fan with a 4-pin molex connector (because there is obviously only one CPU_FAN header on my motherboard. If I did that wouldnt the RPM's be different? Is there some sort of CPU fan Y splitter-cable or something I would have to buy? Also which fans would you suggest I get for this setup?

Solution
the fan RPM would be different if you are to use the molex (it would be going much faster, meaning much louder), best to get a Y splitter and use both fans on the same header, this is safe but for no more then 2 fans, as the output is not high. I suggest high RPM fans that are no bigger then the previous, but have quiet ball bearings, Best fans your looking at are Corsair Air series, which are quiet and fast. make sure you get the same sized fans as you had before.

yes there are fan splitters that would work fine for your application. Otherwise there are sata to 4 pin connectors that would run the fan at full speed. Honestly any 120m fan would work just fine but I would get one made for static pressure. They pull through the fins better, maybe someone with a more informed opinion will chime in. I am more a fan of watercooling. I have the corsair seidon on my fx 8320 an I idle around 40 degrees and peak around ~50 degrees in CS:GO. Up to you the way you want to go. If you want to keep the evo I would go with the splitter like (http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/251053000538?lpid=82) that way the fans stay the same rpm.

Yes the corsair air series are great fans I agree with you there, but they are designed to be a case fan, not so much a static pressure fan, like you would want with a radiator/heatsink.

Wouldnt I want fans with 4 pin connectors because I would be using a splitter from my 4-pin cpu header?

I really appreciate your answer, the splitter seems perfect. My question is what are some 4-pin PWM fans? (Efficient, quiet)

No, if you use a converter from 4 to 3 pin you will lose the pwm ability. It will run at full voltage, I am horrible with knowing what brands are worth your time. Hopefully someone with more experience will chime in. My case fans came with my corsair carbide series case, lol.

I think I'm going with two of the Cougar Vortexes because there are good reviews, its quiet and it uses a 4-pin PWM connection so i can buy two and use the 4-pin PWM splitter on my CPU_FAN header. Thanks for the input :)

I don't see why the cougars wouldn't work, good airflow and low noise, like said I don't have a whole lot of experience with different fans, but I've never heard anything bad about Cougar brand stuff. Should do the job well.
