Computer connected to router but no internet access

My computer can connect to the router but I can't get any internet access! When i look in the network map there is a fine double line between the router and internet, but a broken one between my computer and the router.

When i go on minecraft, I can connect to servers, i find really confusing as I can connect to servers but not the actual internet (i use chrome, but internet explorer doesn't work either) please help! I can't stand this!

Also I can't use a LAN cable or something because the router is downstairs with the NBN i know its a problem with computer because my phone (which I'm writing on) and everyone else's devices work.

Please answer!

There are two solutions of this problem (for windows 7)

1: Go to properties in computers then follow device manager and all network adapter drivers.
startup->write "device manager" in search -> Expand Network adapters -> right click on desired Wifi b/g/n driver and follow update driver.
note: it's recommended to update all drivers

2: if you can't update your driver online due to some reason then get it online from online support of the company by simply entering service tag .
you can get service tag remotely by command line
"wmic csproduct get vendor,name,identifyingnumber"
and select your desired driver

note: again it's recommended to update your drivers every after 3 months

If this solution doesn't work then it could be the problem with your router's firmware. upgrade that
