I have an old laptop with 64MB Dedicated video Memory and I was playing Assassin's Creed Brotherhood on it and naturally, it was slow. Is there any possible way or any registry edit to run this game on 640 x 480 or 320 x 240 Resolution?

Please don't tell me things on "Upgrading my Laptop" or something. I just need to know that is this possible.

Thanks in advance.

Someone may prove me wrong, but I doubt it's possible. Even lowering the resolution can not fix all out-dated graphical and processing limitations.

But, I might be wrong. Just throwing my 2 cents in.

There is a slim chance of it working. If the option of lowering the resolution in-game is not available, I highly doubt that it would work. It might, but it will still be the same performance as it needs more power to play that game even in low resolution.

Even if my laptop still needs power to play that game, lowering the resolution will give a slight performance increase and that's what I want. So, as usual, I asked that "Can I change the resolution to 640 x 480" and I get "The game will still be slow". :(

I ask again: Is it possible to lower the resolution to 640 x 480?

I am actually one step ahead of that! I already have created a custom resolution of 640 x 480 in the Intel Mobile Graphics Menu. I also set the new resolution in the .ini file in the savegames location.

It still doesn't work. :(

NOTE: I posted this question after trying to o whatever I could!
